12 inch Carbon Steel Wok w/ 2 Steel Handles (flat bottom)Lid not included/

Nice item
The wok needs to be seasoned. Once seasoned, it turns completely black, becomes non-stick and is great for stir fry. Handles are welded, not rivetted, but seem to be OK. It is shallower and lighter than the ones commonly used in India, which may be a problem if you cook foods that will be boiled after they are fried. Get a wrought-iron wok if you're planning to put water in it. This wok will rust extremely fast (few hours) if you put water. Seller included some nice free gifts (2 spatulas, recipe book ++).

Fine cooking aid
These hammered out woks are more than I expected but I would have purchased a larger one. A grest tool after I seasoned properly.

Great wok that is durable and easy to clean once seasoned
I have used this wok for nearly three years now and it has held up in perfect shape. In my experience, no wok is easy to season and it always takes multiple uses before the wok can be considered seasoned. My experience with this wok has reinforced that belief. The wok is good to use on a conventional western gas stove since it has a flat bottom and is large enough to make most meals that you would want to make in a wok for 2-3 people. The price for this wok is incredibly reasonable.

My only gripe at all with this wok is that because the handles are steel they heat up while you are cooking. I generally use a pot holder to grip the edge of the wok. Having a pot holder so close to an open flame is not the safest course of action. Aside from this gripe, I have really enjoyed and continue to enjoy this wok and I would recommend it.
