Great Fryer/Pot!
We also purchased the matching fry basket for this fry/sauce pan and the pair make a great deep fryer. We have a dedicated electric deep fryer but after using this are going to give it to Goodwill. This is a high quality commercial grade pot that cleans up easier than any electric deep fryer ever will. Very little splatter also, just don't over-fill the oil!
Fryer/Sauce pan
I ordered the 10" size (the bottom of the fryer is about 9"). It was exactly the right size as mentioned in the description and it fried the chips perfectly. Its design allows for about 5 baking potatoes to be cooked at once. This is 3 more than my other fryer which fit on the same stove element. I ordered the medium basket to go with it and it fits this fryer well.
Basket Holder
The basket holder seems to be made poorly. The weight of the basket when empty bends the holder pedistal. Looks good though.
